What is WERA-LP?
WERA-LP (96.7 FM) is a low-power FM station that serves Arlington County, Virginia. It is a 100% volunteer-run community-oriented radio station that launched in July 2026.
Radio Arlington is a new, independent nonprofit organization. We are the licensee of WERA-LP, and we are not associated with Arlington Independent Media.
Why now?
While life in Arlington is grounded by many excellent news and information sources, there is not a single FM broadcaster in the area that focuses on Arlington specifically. We intend to bridge that gap.
